The Phase-based maintenance process in SAP focuses on enhancing the management of maintenance activities by dividing the lifecycle of maintenance notifications and orders into distinct (sub)phases. This approach enables a more structured and efficient flow, which aims to improve visibility, control, and coordination throughout the maintenance process, ensuring optimal asset performance and reducing downtime. By using clearly defined phases, organizations can streamline their maintenance processes and ensure more accurate tracking of activities and resources.
During this masterclass, we will provide an in-depth explanation of this phase-based maintenance process, and demonstrate the new S/4 Fiori applications that support it.

Alice Lesseliers joined Emixa in 2023 as an SAP EAM Consultant. Since then, she has been actively involved in an SAP S/4HANA transformation project for MIVB. Her role focuses on optimizing maintenance processes and supporting the technical migration to S/4HANA.
