With the new European Data Protection Regulation, it will become even more important than before process only the minimum of data for specific business process. The purpose of this webinar is to show the developments of SAP ERP HCM in the context of data protection.
Two basic principles to achieve this goal are the specific access to data and the deletion of obsolete data. These both principles are the foundation for the following functionalities implemented by SAP:
- Time dependent Authorization, an enhancement to the SAP Standard Authorization Check used in Personnel Administration restricting the data access in the past.
- Deletion of Infotype data using SAP ILM (Information Lifecycle Management), which allows to destroy the data according to predefined periods in an automatic manner.
During the first part of the webinar the concept of both implementations will be presented. In the second part follows a live system demo with specific examples.
